Freight is included to a typical commercial and/or industrial address. Not typical delivery locations may carry an added cost.

Typical delivery is defined as a location that is suitable to accept a semi-trailer truck with a standard 53’ trailer on it, and has the ability to offload it. Please be advised that the equipment is delivered in a standard 53′ semi-trailer unless otherwise specified. The carrier’s policy is to deliver it to the tailgate of the trailer only; they do not remove it from the truck unless other arrangements have been made prior to their arrival. The receiver (you) will be responsible to remove the equipment from the truck. If necessary we can coordinate alternate delivery options at the time of order.

Delivery Options:

Liftgate Delivery:

This equipment is packaged on a pallet and can often be too awkward and heavy to remove without dock equipment. If you do not have a dock and/or a forklift, it is best to add “liftgate” delivery to your order. Liftgate delivery will provide a truck with a liftgate and the carrier will bring the equipment to ground level for you.

Delivery Appointments:

Delivery appointments and/or notification prior to delivery are available at an additional cost.

Big City Delivery:

Delivery to Big Cities, such as the downtown areas of Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, etc. will carry an additional fee to account for the limited access delivery.

Remote Area Delivery:

Delivery to remote areas will carry an additional fee due to the added time required for delivery.

Residential Delivery:

Residential deliveries will carry an additional fee due to the limited access and the requirement of a lift-gate truck.

Redelivery:

If delivery is attempted and the freight is not removed from the trailer any redelivery will come at an additional cost. There is NOT an automatic attempt to re-deliver equipment.

DAMAGES AND SHORTAGES

All equipment is inspected and tested by the manufacturer before packing.
All equipment is packaged to ensure the best possible protection of the merchandise.
ALWAYS Inspect equipment before accepting shipment.
VISIBLE EXTERNAL DAMAGE: Evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill or express receipt and signed by the carrier’s agent (driver) at the time of delivery.
CONCEALED INTERNAL DAMAGE: Immediately inspect the equip- ment for any concealed damage from transit. Damage should be reported to the carrier within ten days of receipt.
Forms for filing damage claims are available from the
carrier. Safe delivery is the responsibility of the carrier.
The person receiving the goods is responsible for filing the freight claim for concealed and visible damage.
SHORTAGES: Berner is only responsible for shortages when notified within 3 days of receiving the shipment.

Important:

All freight should be inspected upon receipt. If there is ANY visible damage to the packaging it MUST be documented. Take photos of the damage and note the damage with the delivery driver. You also have the option to refuse delivery of the equipment if visibly damaged and they will return the equipment to the manufacturer.

Conditions of Sale:

Claims: The responsibility of the company ceases upon delivery of material in good order to the carrier. As all goods are shipped at buyer’s risk, any claims for damage or shortage or loss in transit must be filed by the buyer against the transportation company, (We will assist the Buyer in any reasonable way possible in the filing and collection for any claim for damages and/or losses while in transit.) Claims against factory shortages will not be considered unless made within 60 days after receipt of the goods.

Credit: If Buyer’s credit, at the sole judgment of the Seller, is impaired at any time, Seller shall have the right to defer shipment or cancel the order.
Penalties: No penalty clause of any kind will be effective unless approved in writing by an officer of WeSellFans.com (R. Williamson & Associates, llc).

Order Cancellation:

Should the order be canceled through no fault of WeSellFans.com (R. Williamson & Associates, llc), the Buyer is liable for reimbursement for any and all expenses incurred in connection with this transaction; and in accordance with law for any other losses incurred by Seller.

Its AMCA certified air barrier reaches 8 feet, so people flow through while conditioned air stays put and street air, dust, and insects stay out. That documented performance lets it replace a built vestibule under the ASHRAE 90.1-2019 energy code.

FAQ

Does a 72 inch air curtain meet energy code instead of a vestibule?

Yes. The 72 inch Icon 8 is AMCA certified and meets the ASHRAE 90.1-2019 vestibule exception, which asks for 400 feet per minute of jet velocity six inches off the floor. IECC 2018 and ASHRAE 189.1 are covered too.

How high can it mount?

The 72 inch holds environmental separation to 8 feet and insect control to 7 feet. For taller openings, the Architectural Icon 10 keeps the same look to 10 feet.

Can it go outdoors?

No. The Icon 8 is indoor only, made for interior building entrances, lobbies, and restaurant doors. An exposed exterior opening needs an outdoor rated unit instead.

Does the 72 inch use one motor or two?

One. It is the widest single motor model in the series, and two motor units start at 84 inches. The single motor still throws a full barrier across the 6 foot opening.
